Introduction
Saffron’s ‘Everyday Situations’ range is designed for borrowers seeking a straightforward residential or BTL mortgage. Saffron’s ‘Special Situations’ range caters for self-employed with limited accounts, self-builders, property investors or clients looking to repair their credit profile.
Saffron doesn’t use credit scoring – every application is assessed by a professional underwriter.
Before being able to submit business to Saffron Building Society, you must register on their portal. Click here to go directly to the website. Once you have followed the on screen instructions, an email will be sent directly to the registered email address confirming your registration.
You must setup 3mc as your submission route/mortgage packager to enable us to submit an AIP, following the below instructions: –
- Log in and click the ‘My Profile’ menu option (at the top of the screen)
- Click the ‘Change Submission Routes’ menu option
- From the left-hand column select the Mortgage Clubs/Distributors you want to deal with and using the arrows between the columns move them into your ‘Preferred list’* in the right-hand column.

Using 3mc as your Mortgage Packager
- Before 3mc can act as your mortgage packager for Saffron, you will still have to complete the above process for your registration.
